The Contest starts at 12:01 am EST, USA, 11/1/06 and ends 11:59 PM EST 01/31/07 when all entries must be received.

Three prizes will be awarded each month.

Entrants must be 18 years of age or over. Employees and the immediate families of GSI Group companies, subsidiaries, and representatives are prohibited from entering. All federal, state, national, provincial, territorial, and local laws and regulations apply. The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Average Retail Value of prizes: Grand prize $1999, second prize $799, third prize $349.
Winners will be notified by e-mail.

Participants are limited to one entry for the duration of the Contest. Submission of multiple entries will result in the participant being disqualified from the Contest.

GSI Group reserves the right to disqualify entries that are frivolous or fail to meet the entry requirements. Contest entrants must be employed in, or affiliated with, the motion control industry as determined by GSI Group to be eligible to win. The Contest may be terminated at the Contest Sponsors' discretion.

Winners will be selected at random from the pool of entrants who have answered the questions correctly. All decisions of the judges shall be final.

If you answered the questions correctly but did not win, you will automatically be entered into the next drawing until the contest concludes on January 31, 11:59 PM EST USA, 2007

Prizes:
First prize (1 per month) - The Grand Prize winner will receive a gift certificate redeemable at any Best Buy, nationwide, for a Panasonic 42 inch plasma TV, or the equivalent. (Approximate retail value $1999.00). Second prize (1 per month) - The Second Prize Winners will receive a Nüvi 350 GPS. (Approximate retail value $799.00). Third prize (1 per month) - Third Prize Winners will receive an 80 GB iPod (Approximate retail value $349.00).

GSI may, at its option, award a cash prize of equivalent value to the prizes mentioned above.

All income and other taxes (if any) are the sole responsibility of the winners.

Entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Contest judges, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest. By entering, you agree to waive any right to claim ambiguity or error in these Official Rules. Each Entrant agrees that the GSI Group companies, agents, representatives, affiliates, and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from his/her participation in the Contest, or resulting from the acceptance, possession, or use of these prizes, nor in any way are responsible for any warrantee, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to the quality, condition, or fitness. GSI Group is not responsible for any expenses (except as set forth above) incurred by participants in connection with participation in the Contest.

GSI Group companies assume no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer systems, servers, software, Internet service providers, or e-mail systems; failure of any entry to be received on account of technical problems or incomplete, late, or misdirected e-mail; or any combination thereof, including damage to entrants' or anyone else's computer equipment related to or resulting from participation or downloading of any materials in this Contest.

Caution: Any attempt by an Entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, sponsors reserve the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law.
