In our continuing
effort to add a bit of humor to the wacky world of motion feedback, we
offer another ad in or continuing campaign of famous and not-so-famous
inventors. Most have made invaluable contributions to their field... Others
were notable for their unique points of view...
Whilelm
Reich was great at thinking outside the box. A student of Sigmund Freud
and an accomplished scientist in the field of psychoanalytic therapy,
his studies ultimately lead him to the discovery of "Orgone energy".
Orgone energy is a purported type of "Primordial Cosmic Energy".
The good doctor claimed that orgone energy is omnipresent and accounts
for such things as the color of the sky, gravity, galaxies, and the failure
of most political revolutions...
Oh well, if only he had considered the impact of a well designed motion
feedback system, he may have been hailed as the father of the modern encoder.
Sadly it didn't work out that way and he died in prison.
